Chermside Bowls Club or Club Chermside as it is now known, is much more than just a bowls club. Our mission is to provide a complete service for the benefit of members and the community in Chermside and surrounding suburbs.
We are located at 468 Rode Road, Chermside with ample parking at the rear of the club. We have three well maintained greens set amongst picturesque gardens. A feature is our deck overlooking the greens where you can relax while enjoying a cold drink .

Chermside Bowls Club was founded in 1948 and is known as the ‘Friendly Club’. We cater for Social members (non-bowlers), Full members and visitors. For over 60 years, we have been a vital part of the Chermside community providing both competitive and social bowls, entertainment, and licensed facilities such as our Bistro and Parkview Function Room.

Grill’d – Free burgers for a Mo
Grill’d restaurant owner Elton Berrange is taking a bite out of profits next month in support of men’s health issues.
From November 11-30 he will be giving away free burgers to men with a big, thick and mean moustache to support the Movember project.
Mr Berrange has started his own growing frenzy above the lip but admits the challenge is still open for Brisbane’s best “Mo Bro” to come forward.”
Free burgers will be available to any man wearing a moustache in the store between the hours of 2pm-5pm and 8pm-10pm for a 19 day period next month.
“We had to have these hours because we were hammered last year,” he said. “It will be one burger per day for each person and we expect to give out 800 burgers during the promotion.” Mr Berrange said some of his friends had suffered the effects of depression and it was important to create awareness throughout the community.
“My moustache is a little embarrassing because it is not growing right but I hope to see some really great ones next month. Come in and I will reward you with a free burger.’’
